From September 2018 Aurora Bible Centre, affiliated to Christian Leadership University in New York, trained pastors who live and serve in Mukuru. The line the centre still uses is “Shaped to sharpen.”
Training has been held in church halls, monthly and fortnightly. In February and March, before meetings stopped for a time because of the coronavirus, more than 50 pastors were trained in Reuben. Partnerships with Brian, the White family, Bishop Roseline, Pastor Nyangweso, and others opened more rooms around Industrial Area.
The courses run from certificate to bachelor’s degree. The pastors stay in the settlement to preach.
